Abstract: The Navaglobe radio-navigation system, under development as a long-distance aviation aid, may also provide useful services for marine use. Work on an experimental model of a navaglobe installation is currently in progress. Construction of the transmitting equipment has been completed; indications are that installation OF the transmitter and antennas, and experimental trials of the complete system, will take place during 1948.
