Abstract: | In May of 1935, Mr. Rex Martin, who was then Assistant Director, Bureau of Air Commerce, Department of Commerce, extended to governmental and industrial agencies concerned with the development, application, and use of radio in aeronautical operations an invitation to form an organization for the co-ordination of effort in the technical development of aeronautical radio aids. |
