Abstract: | The modern navigator, in whatever service he is engaged, is looking more and more to the scientist to help him in his task. The new electronic devices developed during the war can undoubtedly help to make the sea a safer place for the transportation of passengers and the products of peace, hut they must not be allowed to be misused by untrained personnel. With this in mind, we have set up within the United States Maritime Commission’s Training Program certain courses in electronics. |
