RADAR CHARTING EFFORTS

Abstract: It is natural that with the improvement of radar and its increased use for navigational purposes, that some discussion is probably necessary coirering the various types of radar charts that have to date made their appearance. The U.S. Navy, the Corps of Engineers and the [J.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey all have done work on the application of charts to radar and all have arrived at a different answer, although by no means do the results seem to represent any degree of finality in their thinking.
