Abstract: In the field of navigation it is our particular concern to see that appropriate international bodies arc: established M here they are needed, and, also of great importance, that they fit into the acccptcd pattern of international organization. The role of the State Department has been particularly heavy since World War II and the formation of the United Nations. The United States is firmly committed to the support of the United Nations as a basic element of our foreign policy.
