Abstract: | Navigation is an old art, however, the demands of new forms of commercial transportation and military operations have required rapid progress in navigation during the last decade. By applications of astronomy, electronics and mechanics, the navigator is overcoming weather, visibility and the abberations of terrestrial magnetism. |
