PROBLEMS OF A SMALL BOAT SKIPPER

Richard S. Nye

Peer Reviewed

Abstract: Sailboat navigation falls naturally into several categories. You are either cruising or racing. If racing, you are either in coastal waters, where your navigation is a matter of bearings, piloting, and dead reckoning, or off-shore where celestial navigation, and dead reckoning are involved.
