Abstract: To an increasing degree the commercial airlines are using Pressure procedures on trans-oceanic flights. Superintendent of navigators of one the major carriers assured the author that over 95 per cent of the crossings in their North Atlantic Operation are now being made using Pressure Pattern methods.
