HIGH PRECISION COMPUTER FOR AUTOMATIC SOLUTION OF THE CELESTIAL TRIANGLE

Abstract: A compact analogue computer for automatic solution of the celestial triangle to obtain altitude and azimuth is described. An analysis of experimental error measurements is presented. Probable error in altitude was 0.9’. For altitudes below 70°, the azimuth probable error was 0.8’.
