AIR POWER AND THE SCIENCE OF AERIAL NAVIGATION

Major General Robert H. Terrill

Peer Reviewed

Abstract: In this paper I intend to touch briefly on two matters which are of mutual interest to us: Air power and the science of aerial navigation as they relate to the Strategic Air Command. Today, as in times past, those who follow the sea have reason to be grateful for the contributions navigators have made. No less cognizant of your findings are those whose job it is to travel the larger, lonelier regions between earth and sky. And tomorrow, a new generation of pioneers will have reason to thank you.
