Abstract: | Rear Admiral Robert W. Knox, Assistant Director of the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey, has been intimately associated with navigators and navigation throughout his 33 years of notable service with the Coast and Geodetic Survey. He also hs allied himself closely with the aims and endeavors of The Institute of Navigation throughout the past few years. Consequently, in the year just drawing to a close, in which he has served well and ably as President of The Institute, it is fitting that this issue be dedicated to his endeavors. |
