Abstract: | CURRENT EFFORTS IN THE development of space systems have been directed mainly toward non-maneuverable satellite payloads. These initial missions have been essentially scientific in objective and the payload size has not permitted inclusion of a maneuver capabi ity. Future development of large boosters will permit significant increases in payload delivery into orbit. This increased payload capability will stimulate the development of versatile space vehicles having varying degrees of maneuvering capabilities. |
