Abstract: In this paper we discuss generalized multidimensional geolocation modulation waveforms which include: A) State of the Art Geolocation Waveforms: 1. Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) 2. Multicarrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) 6. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) 7. Binary Offset Carrier (BOC) 8. Alternate Binary Offset Carrier (AltBOC) 9. Time Modulated/Composite Binary Offset Carrier (TM/C-BOC) B) Giftet Inc Beyond State of the Art Multidimensional Geolocation Waveforms: 10. Variable Binary Offset Carrier (VBOC) 11. Variable OFDMA or VOFDMA 20. geolocation waveform iv GMVBOCWv The main motivation for this paper is that in the past all GNSS waveforms were designed separately and therefore they exhibit sub-optimal signal design performance in the context of a generalized global objective function. Waveforms will offer not only flexibility and re-configurability in signal design in a multidimensional architecture but also superior performance against any single signal design waveforms.
