Abstract: | CHARLES F. BLAIR, JR., who was cited as a "practical air navigator and pilot of the highest caliber," is the recipient of the Col. Thomas L. Thurlow Award for the outstanding contribution to the science of navigation in 1958. The award was presented at the dinner during The Institute of Navigation’s 15th annual meeting June 18-20 at the United States Merchant Marine Academy, King’s Point, N. Y. |
