Abstract: | ELECTION TO THE OFFICE of President of The Institute of Navigation is a great honor. That is self evident. But it is more than an honor. When I contemplate the responsibility of filling the shoes of the outstanding men who have preceded me in this position, a feeling of inadequacy and deep humility overtakes me. If my performance in this position falls short of your expectations-and mine- it will not be through design or neglect. |
