Abstract: A NEW VERSION of the Raydist electronic navigation system employing transistorized and miniaturized base stations as well as position indicators was recently introduced into commercial service on the Canadian shore of Lake Erie. All equipment in the system, including base stations and the position indicators in aircraft or surface vessels, can be flown into remote areas by light planes or helicopter, or transported by station wagon, jeep, or small boat.
