Abstract: | Harold Gatty was not only a professional navigator; he was also a man who studied and practiced navigation because he liked it. Anyone who has the same feeling about navigation, or who does not like to see technical progress accompanied by a loss of natural skills, should investigate Mr. Gatty’s last book, which was finished just before he died last year. |
