Abstract: | The interests of a navigator in the powered aspect of missile and space flight would lie principally in the environment to which he or his instruments would be subjected during powered flight and the variations which might be expected in the performance of the propulsion system. This paper is intended to present some of the current and expected future characteristics of rocket engines in these two fields. |
