THE AIR FORCE NAVIGATOR, 1960 to 1970

Capt. Don D. McVey

Peer Reviewed

Abstract: In the last 20 years we have seen the role of the flight navigator become increasingly important. He has equaled and surpassed the prestige enjoyed for hundreds of years by the ocean-going navigator. Today the prestige of teh flight navigator is at an all-time high. His conscientious and serious devotion to navigation has indeed welded the pilot and navigator into an unbeatable flying team.
