| Abstract: | This paper describes features of a navigation system which can be provided for a supersonic transport. The features of global, all-weather navigation and independence from ground-based navigation aids are significant characteristics of the system discussed. Tie-in of the basic system to supplementary aids is a straightforward extension of the system capabilities. A final recommendation of hardware would be made after analysis of the performance requirements and cost. |
