Abstract: Air traffic control and air navigation problems in the operation of supersonic vehicles are of vital concern to the Office of Plans of the Federal Avaition Agency. Our preliminary study has been directed toward outlining the problem areas. This paper will discuss six problem areas affecting air traffic control and air navigation in the enroute and terminal areas.
