3. INTERNATIONAL INITIALOGRAPHY (WHAT LIES AHEAD FOR OCEANOGRAPHY?)

Abstract:	I was supposed to talk ahout international oceanography this morning, but I have taken the liverty of changing the title slightly to International Initialography. I have attempted to note in the accompanying box the initials of a few international organizations which are active in the field of oceanography, and I will try to follow the box from left to right and top to bottom.
