AIR PHOTOGRAPHIC AND CHARTING SERVICE NAVIGATION SYSTEM FOR MAPPING

Abstract:	The navigation requirements for an airborne photo mapping and surveying system are described and the equipment components necessary to meet these requirements are outlined. These components will be integrated into the Mapping and Survey Sub-system, AN/USQ-28, in the near future by the Air Force. The system will be used operationally by the Air Photographic and Charting Service (MATS).
