Abstract: The flight was made from Uplands Airport, Ottawa, Canada on July 20, 1963. The pilot was Major Wm. A. cato, of Kirtland AFB, N.M.; the single passenger was Prof. charles H. Smiley, Director of Ladd Observatory of Brown University. The plane was Starfighter No. 317, and F-1041) of the U.S. Air Force.
