Abstract: The purpose of this paper is, first, to review the over-all X-20A (Dyna-Soar) guidance requirements in terms of the present orbital program objectives and requirements; and second, to describe the functions of mechanization of the X-20A Primary Guidance Sybsystem is required to provide the following functions during X-20A ground launch missions (Fig. 1).
