Abstract: ON THE second day of the conference, the attendees divided into three groups to consider, respectively, traffic and route prediction, airborne and ground systems, and off-optimum operation and flight-path modification. Space does not permit a complete report; however, most of the major topics discussed are indicated below in italics. These are followed by condensations of some of the attendees’ comments and opinions. No comment or opinion is to be construed as the official position of any attendee’s employer nor of any agency of the United States Government.
