Abstract: | IN ORDER to achieve safe and economical supersonic transport (Mach 3) operation, certain meteorological parameters must be considered as fundamental to problems of preflight planning and in-flight operations. In this paper some meteorological aspects of the supersonic transport problem are discussed and illustrated. Additional meteorological studies are suggested which could further benefit the supersonic transport program. |
