Abstract:	Just from reading the titles of the many papers on your very impressive series of sessions and from hearing the very interesting dissertions already presented, I am more than evern convinced that I am indeed the "layman" guest here. Most of you are apparently deeply concerned with the intricacies of navigation in respect to complex scientific, industrial, and commercial projects, and here I am, speaking about how navigation is viewed and utilized by the recreational boatman!
