Abstract: INTRODUCTION THE SOLUTION OF SPHERICAL TRIANGLES is the basic mathematical problem of navigation; as a result, many methods have been evolved over the years to accomplish this fundamental task. The purpose of this paper is to add one more item to this long list in the hope that, for some applications at least, it will prove to be the most satisfactory method.
