RELATION OF AZIMUTH AND POSITION ERRORS IN A LONG-RANGE AIRCRAFT INERTIAL SYSTEM

R. J. Holm

Peer Reviewed

Abstract: THE DIFFERENTL~LEQUATIONS forlongperiods of inertial navigation have been previously solved by others in terms of initial azimuth alignment, azimuth gyro drift, and the two level-axis gyro drifts. The effect of these are shown in discussion and in flight test data.
