Abstract: This paper describes the electronic equipment used by the Coast and Geodetic Survey for navigational control of its hydrographic and oceanographic surveys. These descriptiosn will include such peripheral systems as computers, sonar, and other aids to navigation. Their advantages and limitations will be discussed.
