Abstract: COMBINING THE FUNCTIONAL analysis of an Airborne Omega Navigation Receiver with the capabilities of currently available airborne computers has produced t’he concept of a computerized Omega Navigation Set. It is now practical to implement, by computer programs, many of the functions traditionally performed by specialized hardware.
