Abstract:	THIS PAPER DESCRIBEG an Emergency Shiphandling Trainer that is used t’o offer instruction in ship maneuvering, tactical factors in shiphandling, and communications procedures and team practice in the conning of a ship. The first section covers a physical description of the device, the second section describes the operation of the system simulation, and the third area covers the use and training value of the simulator.
