Abstract:	The 29th Annual Meeting, hosted by the St. Louis Section, was held at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, MO., 19-21 June. At the banquet, Mr. Loren DeGroot, ION President, gave an informative Presidential Address “Navigation and its Relation to Society” and then presented The Institute’s Awards. The Burka award for outstanding achievement in the reaparation of a paper contributing to the advancement of navigation and space guidance was presented to ANDREW EDWARDS, JR. for his article “The State of Strapdown Inertial Guidance and Navigation” which appeared in NAVIGATION, Vol. 18, No. 4.
