OMEGA NAVIGATION SYSTEM REGIONAL VALIDATION PROGRAM

Abstract:	The OMEGA Navigation System Operations Detail’s (ONSOD’s) regional validation program is explained by a discussion of the following topics: (1) Regional Validation Procedure, (3) Monitor Equipment Characteristics, and (4) Validation Data Implementation. A Validation Status Report presents events and findings relating to ONSOD’s current validation work for the South Atlantic and Indian Ocean. Samples of the South Atlantic Validation data with analysis, and a progress report for the Indian Ocean Validation are included.
