Abstract: | During the month of October 1983, nine navigation specialists accompanied by six wives visited the People’s Republic of China. The purpose of the trip was to exchange information in the field of navigation and to discuss the Chinese and American Institutes of Navigation. The delegation was made up of specialists in maritime casualty analysis, navigation safety, inertial navigation systems, marine aids to navigation, aircraft radio aids to navigation, aircraft landing systems, aviation weather services, optimum flight planning, aircraft navigation and design and production of almanacs and tables for navigation. |
