THE INSTITUTE'S PROFESSIONAL FORUM: AN EXTENSION TO THE OVERDETERMINED CELESTIAL FIX

Abstract:	I show that a previous algorithm that computes the overdetermined celestial fix by a least-squares fit includes nonequal weights for a set of observations of several celestial bodies, and I give an extension to the algorithm that weights the observations uniformly.
