Abstract: | This letter was prompted by certain passages in [l]. Specifically, we would like to add to the historical perspective relating to the test require- ments for the integrity performance of GPS receivers. Essentially, the integrity verification plan calls for testing one thing and flying another, with justification by a demand for functional equivalence. |
