Information for Alternate Authors

For now, based on your topic, your presentation has been assigned as an alternate in the identified session. We are unable to confirm your exact presentation date/time at this time.  The session identified is where you will post a video presentation in the on-demand portal which is live from the start of the conference and for 30 days after. Alternates will be moved into speaking slots before the conference, as spots become available; it is possible your presentation may be moved to another session for presentation. Please keep this in mind when booking travel and ensure you plan travel to accommodate the full duration of the conference.

In order to be guaranteed the opportunity to give your presentation in person, you must attend the speakers' breakfast, according to the session you are assigned at the time on the onsite program and be prepared to give your presentation when called upon to do so. If for any reason you fail to attend the assigned breakfast, or are not prepared to give your presentation, your paper/presentation will not be published in the conference proceedings. 

• All alternate presenters should be prepared when called upon to do so.
• The presenting author should attend the Speakers' Breakfast the morning of your assigned session.
• Attend the session to which your presentation was assigned. If you attend your session and are fully prepared to give your presentation, your presentation/paper can be published in the conference materials/proceedings.
• You are also required to submit a video recorded presentation by January 20. 
• Alternate authors that are called on to present, and decline, will have their video presentation removed and will not have their papers published in the meeting's technical proceedings.
