As a performance of smartphone's GNSS chipset improves, it is expected that smartphone based cm level precise positioning will be possible. However, because smartphone antennas have different characteristics from conventional GNSS antennas, it is difficult to perform cm level precise positioning using commercial smartphones. In this study, we focused on PCV among the factors caused by smartphone antennas. RTK positioning performance analysis of a commercial Samsung smartphone with antenna calibration was performed. The effect of the PCV on the carrier phase measurements was compensated for by using the antenna correction for the GPS L1 signal calculated through the antenna calibration of the commercial Samsung Galaxy S22. After that, positioning performance was analyzed through near zero-baseline RTK. For analysis, static and dynamic test were conducted using the commercial Samsung Galaxy S22. As results of applying RTK after applying antenna correction, it was confirmed that cm level positioning was possible in both tests. In particular, it was confirmed that TTFF was shortened through the application of antenna correction. In the static test, TTFF was reduced from 100 seconds to 1 second, and in the dynamic test, TTFF was reduced from 115 seconds to 2 seconds. From these results, the application of antenna correction calculated through antenna calibration is essential for smartphone based cm level precise positioning.
