PLANS Registration Terms and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

All cancellations/substitutions must be received in writing at the ION National Office. Fees for written cancellations received on, or prior to, March 28 are fully refundable. Written cancellations received March 29 - April 4 are refundable less a $200 cancellation fee. The fee is to cover obligations incurred by the ION in making registration arrangements and does not entitle the registrant to any of the conference materials. Refunds will not be given for no shows or for cancellations received after April 4 however, full attendee substitutions for persons from the same organization may be made through May 1 at onsite registration. The credit card number provided at time of registration will be charged for all registration fees. Requests to have these fees refunded and charged to a different credit card will be assessed a $200 transaction fee.

Photo, Audio and Video Waiver:

Your presence at IEEE/ION PLANS 2025 constitutes your agreement to be photographed, filmed, videotaped or otherwise recorded in connection with ION and IEEE/ION PLANS 2025; and your agreement that your name, voice and likeness may be broadcast, distributed or displayed in connection with any program created from the conference without any compensation being paid to you.

Indemnification:

Registrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Institute of Navigation and their respective members, officers, directors, agents and employees from and against any and all liabilities, damages, costs, losses, claims and expenses (including attorneys' fees), on account of personal injury, death, damage to or loss of property, loss of profits, acts of omission, negligence, fault or violation of law or ordinance, cancellation or postponements of event due to acts of God, war, government regulation, strike, availability of goods and services, military actions, civil disorder, terrorism and/or biological/chemical terrorism (directly or indirectly caused by, resulting from or in connection with any act of or threat of or fear or terrorism whether actual or perceived), disaster, strikes, curtailment of transportation facilities or any other emergency beyond the parties' control making it inadvisable, illegal or that materially affects the Institute's ability to hold the meeting.

Code of Ethics:

Registrants are expected to comply with the ION Code of Ethics and Conference Code of Conduct at all ION conferences and associated events.
