Aero-Flexure Estimation and Autonomous Navigation Performance Improvement: Transfer Alignment Algorithm Implementation

Master/Slave systems are widely used in land, naval and aerospace applications where necessity of service module to be deploied or subsytems attitude information sussist. Consider, for example, a laser pointer positioned on the aircraft’s tail during manouver, aero-flexure estimation is important in order to avoid pointing error. At the same way, consider a subsytems to be deploied based on MEMS sensors cause of weight and cost requirements. Autonomous navigation permances can be improved considering sensor calibration in order to evaluate turn-on to turn-on bias and scale factor parameters. This paper present a transfer alignment algorithm based on vector matching technique implementation and validation on experimental set-up both for misalignment angles estimation both for autonomous navigation performance improvement of mems based ahrs.
