Operated on P(Y)-code and C/A code frequencies. Standardized integration across diverse aircraft.
Item History:
Designed by Rockwell Collins in mid-1980s. Intended for Department of Defense aircraft. Provided precise navigation and timing information. Used on multiple aircraft platforms including F-16, B-52, and various helicopters.
