Description:
The N5G Inertial Guidance System was used by the USAF in the North American/ Autonetics GAM-77/AGM-28 Hound Dog Missile Systems carried by the B52 Bomber.
Item History:
Over 700 Hound Dog Missiles built. Controlled by D9A VERDAN computer. Included a star tracker for calibration. Guidance systems could be cross-compared. The N5G system was based on a guidance system developed for the Navaho X-10 missile which was never produced.
