Telespazio UK based in Luton, is part of Telespazio, a joint-venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%) and is headquartered in Rome.
Telespazio is one of the major players worldwide in satellite solutions and services, and has a wide international network of space centres and teleports. In addition to Telespazio UK, the Telespazio group includes Telespazio France, Telespazio Deutschland GmbH, GAF, Spaceopal (a joint venture with the German space agency DLR) (Germany), Telespazio Iberica (Spain), Rartel (Romania), Telespazio Brasil, Telespazio Argentina and e-GEOS (in which the Italian Space Agency holds a 20% interest).
Telespazio is at the forefront in many sectors: from the design and development of space systems to the management of launch services and satellites in-orbit control, from Earth observation services to communications, from navigation and satellite tracking to scientific programmes.
