About Us:
SMG is a UK based company in Cambridge founded in 2015 as a spin out of Cambridge University.
We are a multi-disciplinary team of 14 scientists & engineers with expertise in MEMS design for inertial sensors and gravimetry.
SMG Resonant MEMS technology is based on 10+ years of research and underpinned by world leading patent protected know-how.
We have three product ranges
1) High performance navigational grade MEMS (VBA) accelerometers with range from 25g to 100g, low total bias, bias instability, and velocity random walk.
2) Near navigational grade MEMS gyroscopes with 1600°/sec range, low total bias and angle random walk.
3) MEMS Gravimeters with 5 µGal sensitivity.
