Technical excellence and unwavering political will, alongside evolving governance models, important decisions and development challenges, have made this program a success. However, the path was far from linear, and Europe has gained invaluable lessons along the way. Marco and Jeremie will walk us through the program's various phases over the past 30 years, sharing unforgettable moments from this remarkable adventure.
 

Marco Falcone leads the preparation of the Future Navigation programs for Earth, Moon, and beyond for the European Space Agency. Former ESA Programme Manager for Galileo, he received the ION’s Thurlow Award in 2018.

 

Jeremie Godet leads the team in charge of IRIS² and GOVSATCOM initiatives in the European Commission. Since its inception, he has had an important and evolving role in the Galileo program for more than 20 years.
