June 30: Full papers in technical peer-review sessions must be uploaded in final form to the ION’s Abstract Management Portal (AMP). Papers not received in final form by June 30 will not be eligible for peer-review.
September 16-20: ION GNSS+ 2019, Hyatt Regency, Miami, Florida
September 30: Final revised papers and presentations for publication in proceedings will not be accepted after this date.
Papers meeting all the peer review requirements will be designated as “peer reviewed” in the conference proceedings. Papers not meeting the peer review requirements will still be published in the proceedings but without the peer reviewed designation. Manuscripts not representative of the original abstract submitted will NOT be presented or included in the conference proceedings. While final manuscripts are required for peer-review by June 30, corrected/updated manuscripts will be accepted through September 30.
Presentations submitted through AMP by September 30 will be included in the proceedings. A full technical paper is optional and may be published on a voluntary basis. Presentations not representative of the original abstract submitted will NOT be included in the conference proceedings, regardless of whether or not they were presented at the conference, and may affect the acceptance of future abstracts. Presentations and/or papers submitted in these tracks are not eligible for peer-review.
Panel speakers are encouraged to provide their presentations for the conference proceedings. A full technical paper is optional and will be published on a voluntary basis.
Should an unforeseen event make it impossible for you to attend the conference to present your paper, please ask a co-author to present your paper on your behalf. Only co-authors listed on your paper will be permitted to present on your behalf. If a co-author is not available to present your paper, and the paper needs to be withdrawn, please notify Miriam Lewis at the ION National Office via phone at 703-366-2723, or email at email@example.com. Please note that only authors who are in attendance at their assigned conference session prepared to present will have their paper published in the conference proceedings. This applies to both primary and alternate authors.
Presenting authors for primary and alternate presentations are required to attend a speakers' breakfast, held in the Hibiscus Room (first floor) at the Hyatt Regency Miami on the morning of their presentation(s).
If you are not in attendance at the Speaker Breakfast on the morning of your presentation(s), the Session Chairs will allocate your presentation time to another presenter, your paper will be cancelled and will not be included in the conference proceedings.
If you have not submitted your biography (50 words or less) through the Abstract Management Portal, provide it to your Session Co-chairs during the breakfast. This will be used to introduce you prior to your presentation. This is also the time that audio-visual equipment and the timing lights will be demonstrated.
If you require a travel visa in order to attend the conference, begin the process immediately to ensure you obtain your visa in time to travel to the meeting. If you will need a formal invitation letter from the ION, please make your request using the ION Visa Letter Request Form. If your paper must go through any kind of clearance process before it can be released to the public begin the process immediately to ensure you will be able to present your paper at the conference and be included in the published proceedings.
