Mr. John Fischer has made significant contributions to the GNSS technology landscape. He helped grow Spectracom, a small US-based timing company, to become part of Orolia, a world leader in Resilient PNT. He was responsible for adding networking capability to their timing technology and for bringing a powerful, low-cost simulator product line, the GSG, to market.
Mr. Fischer holds several patents including one for subnanosecond time sync using RTK GNSS receivers. He is currently the vice president of Advanced Research and Development at Orolia. He is a member of the OPEN PNT Alliance and GPS World Magazine Editorial Advisory Board.
Mr. Fischer earned an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computing Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
