GPS World has evolved to cover all aspects of GPS: government policies and budgets, products and services in the marketplace, new research, and people. Mr. Gibbons is sharp and provocative in his editorials on issues ranging from government policies to sociological changes being wrought by GPS. A regular column “Washington View” offers an insider’s view of policies in the making. The “Innovation” column continues to publish articles on the cutting edge research topics written in surprisingly understandable English. Mr. Gibbons has developed GPS World to occupy an important position in the satellite navigation world. Mr. Gibbons has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Willamette University in Salem, Ore., and a master of arts degree from the University of Oregon School of Journalism. Previously, he worked as a reporter and editor for daily and weekly newspapers in the Pacific Northwest and has published in numerous journals and magazines. |
